Mentorship at Anandi: Learning from the World’s Best
Real learning doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when young people are exposed to those who’ve built, failed, adapted, and excelled. At The Anandi School, mentorship is not an occasional add-on; it is a core part of how we design learning. Every Field Project is shaped by close guidance from mentors who bring real-world insight and global experience.

Why Mentorship Matters Now
In a world reshaped by AI, climate urgency, and global interconnection, students need more than academic success. They need wisdom. They need role models who’ve built with purpose and adapted with courage. Real-world exposure early on builds grounded, confident learners.
From Summer Camps to Semester Projects
At the Anandi Makers Basecamp '25 in Bengaluru and Mumbai, mentorship came alive in powerful ways. Dyumna from Project Clay and Gayathri from Varee explored brand storytelling with our students. Vinay Maheshwari of The Health Factory ran a hands-on sales workshop. Dhvanil Sheth from Skillmatics guided students through marketing strategy. And on the final day, Shantanu Deshpande from Bombay Shaving Company critiqued final pitches, offering practical insight and encouragement.
Each mentor engaged deeply, asked tough questions, and treated students as capable builders. The result? They didn’t just build gadgets. They built identity, confidence, and clarity.
Who Our Mentors Are
Anandi mentors include Ivy League alumni, startup founders, climate leaders, and social innovators. They co-design field challenges, offer critique, and stay connected beyond projects. Their presence turns theory into action and classrooms into launchpads.
Our Board
Anandi’s board brings strategic direction and world-class expertise. They guide us on how to scale excellence and prepare students for a future that’s still unfolding.
Our board includes:

The Ripple Effects
Mentorship shapes how students see themselves and what they believe is possible. It builds confidence, sharpens thinking, and ignites purpose. At Anandi, it’s more than support. It’s a mindset — embedded into how we teach, who we partner with, and how students grow.
